Sarah Pelayo, Current President

Sarah Pelayo is a Business teacher in Minidoka county at Mt. Harrison High School, where she teaches a variety of business courses including Business Computer Applications, Photoshop, Business Essentials, Personal Finance, Business Ethics, and Yearbook. She is passionate about public education earning her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Career and Technical Education and serves in many leadership capacities including Advisor of her school's Business Professionals of America Chapter, Chair of her school's Climate Committee and the current President of the Idaho Business Education Association. Advocacy is another area Sarah is dedicated to, working hard to support her students and colleagues as an active member of the Idaho Education Association both locally and on the IEA's State-wide IGNITE committee, tasked with early-career mentorship and professional development. Sarah’s tenacity and resourcefulness is an asset to everything she embarks on.

Cassie Cook, Past President

Cassi Cook graduated from Idaho State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Secondary Education, Majoring in Business Education and Minoring in English. She now teaches at the same high school that she graduated from, Soda Springs High School.  Teaching in a small school has given her the opportunity to teach everything from Keyboarding, Personal Finance, Graphic Design, Speech, and almost everything in between.  Her high school is part of the Microsoft Imagine Academy and was also one of the first schools to participate in the Adobe 'Create Idaho' Project.  She is also the advisor for Soda's Business Professionals of America Chapter.

Spencer Christensen, Past President

Spencer Christensen is a business teacher at Grace High School where he teaches computer applications, economics, video/multimedia, and business essentials.  He also advises the Business Professionals of America chapter of Grace. Spencer graduated from Idaho State University in December 2014 with a B.S. in Secondary Education and earned his teaching certificate in Business Technology Education, Economics, and Spanish.  Before shifting to the role of local chapter advisor, Spencer participated in BPA as a member for 7 years and filled various leadership positions including Fall Conference Chair, ISU Chapter President, National Postsecondary Secretary/Treasurer, and National Postsecondary Vice-President.

Jennifer Bollinger, Past President

Jennifer Bollinger is a business/technology teacher at Kimberly High School, in Kimberly, ID.   She teaches Key apps, Intro to Technology, Desktop Publishing, Photoshop and Interactive Media. She works part time for Idaho Digital Learning Academy teaching business courses. Jennifer has been a part of Business Professionals of America since College and is proud to be a co-advisor for one of the largest student organizations in Idaho. Jennifer is currently a member of NBEA, WBEA, CTEI and ACTE.

Donna Orr, Past President

Dona Orr is a faculty member of the University of Idaho College of Education.  She teaches courses in the business and marketing teacher preparation program and is an advisor for the University of Idaho BPA chapter.  Dona resides in Boise and also works part-time at the West Ada School District as a special projects coordinator.  Dona is currently a member of CTEI and the Idaho PTE Foundation, NBEA, WBEA, and ACTE, where she is the Region V Representative on the Policy Committee for Business and Economic Education.  She is also the current Vice President of the National Association of Supervisors of Business Educators.

Chantel Reddish, Awards Chair

Chantel Reddish is a teacher at Century High School in Pocatello, ID.  She has taught several different classes of business and math throughout her teaching career.  Currently, she is teaching math and beginning, intermediate, and advanced web design classes.  Chantel is currently Department Chair for PTE/PE, Building Leadership Committee, Faculty Senate, Tech Coach,  and she creates and maintains the school web site.  She has advised Business Professionals of America for several years.  She is currently a member of NBEA, WBEA, and IBEA.

Leslie Priebe, Communication Chair

Leslie Priebe is a business teacher at Hagerman Jr/Sr High School in Hagerman, ID. She teaches computer applications, publishing, marketing economics, entrepreneurship and business essentials. Leslie is one of the advisors for the Hagerman chapter of Business Professionals of America. Leslie is the senior class advisor, graduation advisor, district newsletter and calendar organizer, and grant administrator for the Local Consortium of Southern Idaho (LCSI) for the Carl D. Perkins Act.

Shauna Williams, Membership Chair

Shauna Williams is the Program Quality Manager for Business & Marketing Education at Idaho Career & Technical Education. She is the  state advisor for Business Professionals of America and DECA. Shauna was a high school business teacher for 19 years as well as an online high school business teacher for iSucceed Virtual High School where she teaches retail and MOS certification courses.  Shauna is a member of the National Association of Supervisors of Business Educators, MBA Research Consortium, division representative to CTEI, NBEA and WBEA. Shauna is a graduate from the University of Idaho with her Educational Specialist degree and is currently working on her Ed.D in Career & Technical Education at the University of Idaho.

Lindsey Wallgren, Webmaster

Lindsey Wallgren is an Assistant Professor of Business and Marketing in the School of Business, Communication & Technology at the College of Western Idaho. She teaches digital publishing, web design, general business, business writing and general computer courses. She also teaches personal finance for nurses at Boise State University. Lindsey is a graduate from George Fox University with a masters degree in Business Administration.
